Hi, Not exactly a world crisis (unlike my financial stocks) but... Has anyone noticed their post count has decreased? Mine says 8 when I have posted lmany more times than that. I'm sure it displayed a higher count previously.
It depends on where you post. I don't believe your count is increased for posting in the Lounge Forums. Or it might just be Chit-Chat. I don't quite remember, as I don't tend to post outside of Chit-Chat if I do.
Your posts are not decreasing.. ...it will stay the same ONLY if you post in these sub-forums/sections: - Chit-chat - Market Place In other words, your post number will not increase if you post in those 2 sub-forums/sections.. It will ONLY decrease if the admin. and/or moderators delete your posts..
Thanks for your replies folks. I never knew posts didn't get counted in certain forums...and I guess I was mistaken about my post counts being higher previously. Now...about that world crisis....
Seriously... does it matter ? No prizes or additional privileges for additional post counts in case you didn't know that! If I count mine before this website was revised ( and my post count reset thereafter) sometime in '02, I think I'm well over 1500 posts by now!
If there were prizes or additional privileges for additional post counts at BC . IMHO, if there were prizes or additional privileges for additional post counts, then our BC members would be encouraged to post more. But, will it encourage more constructive or helpful info to be posted in this forum? I would think not. I would think our forum would become less beneficial. .
I will agree. On the most part, for members posting lots and lots within a short period of time, a lot of those posts do not really have much useful content in them, and aren't really the kind of posts which make for great in-depth reading.
excuse me klc28, don't think i am rude but, You have been a member since 2004! But you only have as much posts as i do, i joined, like only day before yesterday! And all my posts are in the Intro and Chit Chat section! Anyways, hope you don't have any more problems with words or with me! C YA!
Quite right At any given time, we have three times as many anonymous browsers as logged-in members. For instance, right now, we have over a hundred logged-in members and over 300 'guests' going through our posts.
Hey - I wasn't imagining it. It now says 0 posts. Before anyone says it; No - I don't only post in Marketplace and Chitchat. Yes, I know, it's not important but this is feedback about the forum.... Ahem - I'll get my coat....
