    HELLO....
my string was recently broke. use yonex bg65 for my MP22 racket (last tension was 25).
is it ok if i replace it with less cheaper string (not yonex)? will it have some effects on the performance of the racket?
I wonder if i replace it with cheaper string it will just break easily and it will just cost me something.
Or should i settle for the same string even if its a kind of expensive...

    Please i want advice!!!

    Hi there,

It doesn't matter what strings you use on that racket, however yes, performance will vary. Why not have a look under 'string' section on the thread I started about 'favorite/least favorite strings. From there you can get an idea on what strings people like etc. My favorites are Ashaway Micropower, Yonex BG66, BG80. I found 65TI Ok, but not my favorites! Hope you find a string that you'll like..! BG65 is one of the more durable strings in Yonex lineup though.

A cheaper string will, generally, offer less performance than a more expensive one but not always. For example, Yonex BG-6 is an incredibly cheap string but performance is meant to be alright. What string did you have in mind for your MP22?

well, i suppose to strung it with a alpha brand string(1 dollar price) compared to yonex bg-65 which is around 7 dollars.
