Get this string form Ampang Park. It comes with the Apacs racket I bought. The person there said it is 0.66mm which is same with BG 66. Anyone here use it ? Ashaway Durakill 66 is sold about RM 22 while BG 66 is RM 29.
It's ok. A bit thin and bouncy for my liking and doesn't have particularly good durability, It's not that lively at high tenisons either but does give a fairly crisp sound and feel. I usually take them straight off and swap for Bg65Ti/Bg80 at 28lbs.
I feel it is hardly find any people using Ashaway Durakill 66 is Malaysia. Mostly Yonex or Gosen strings.... but I heard that Ashaway also good in strings
i was using ashaway micro power ... till the knot came off when i was playing ?? i have to say it was a very nice this micro power .. i am finding difficulty in finding where to purchase it again as the place i bought it from sold me its last one now trying out ashaway FLEX ... will see how that goes
Topper sports in Mapang park can find some Ashaway strings... Other Ashaway strings is quite common except this Durakill 66...
ok ... ashaway FLEX .. SUCKS big time !! repulsion is poor .. the shuttle doesnt seem to wanna bounce of the strings very much at all .. much harder to play delicate shots
You can find Durakill66 at Etakoh in Pertama Complex.. Only RM20... Holds tension very well but feel like losing repulsion after some time...
IS Durakill 66 the cheapest string by Ashaway? I do find my racket lose the tension very fast... any good strings can find in Malaysia beside Yonex? How about Victor and Apacs stirngs?
