I got this racket a month back, decided to wear out the manufacturer's strings even though they look quite poor. Anyway i now want to restring it, and it says on the side 18-22lbs... i'd like 24, can i get away with it?

i don't think it'll be a problem, all of the players in my club who use n1s to n4s have been stringing them up to 26 or 28lbs, no one really pays attention to those recommended tensions.

having said that, it could void the warranty if your racquet does break, so it's up to you if you're willing to take the risk.

I'd string it at your preferred tension. It's only 2Lbs outside the recommended tension and you want to enjoy the racket as opposed to playing outside your tension in fear of breaking the racket.
