On the box, it has the hologram of authenticity. I don't know did yonex produce these shoes. I had a pair of SHB 98, so I know how the quality of this shoes compare to SHB98. I can guarantee for you it's just like SHB98 (old verson). I already got 2 pairs for future because I am a big fan of SHB98 PM me with the shoes' side, I'll ask my friend if he has it. thanks
