So I was wondering what racket I should get. I don't play that often, but would like to. When i play i usually try to smack, rather than placing. And i would like it to be light..
I don't really know much about rackets so I have no idea what the difference is between isometric and oval rackets.

Look for some Ashaway or Apacs models.

Cheap and good for new players. :)

isometric rackets heads are larger, because the top is flatter. If the head length were to remain the same it would have a larger surface area. It make sit easier to hit.

you like to smack instead of place. and want it light?
    get a Yonex Isometric 75

My suggestion is go for slim and flex racket
slim racket is to train your wrist,or make your wrist alive and flex racket to give u better power.
