Could anyone tell me Gade"s full name?

When I watched badminton games about 12 years ago, his name usually

    shows Peter Gade "Christiansen".

But now, I always find his name is Peter Gade "Hoeg" .

    why?

Hmm, I think Hoeg is her family name...

Wait, does it mean that, if a Danish male marries, his family name will be replaced by his wife's?

maybe the male's name will merge with the wife's family name, Peter Gade-Hoeg, just like say, Wright-Phillips? and the same for the female as well vice versa??

In the Nordic countries tradition has it that a married couple uses the mans family name. But it is also allowed and common to have both, or to take the womans family name, it is basically all upp to the couple marrying to decide :)

his wife name Camilla Hoeg? he must like the name Camilla or it must be a very common name :)
