Smash follow through help

    when i smash i'm not sure where i should be following through to. I'm right handed-should i follow to left right... Jus curious because for the third time on a smash i followed through to between left and right and well put 2 and 2 together please as it was very painful:eek:

    Racket should be going down your left side when you follow through. Just watch badminton videos to see this.

    yup down your left side but it shouldnt be like a tennis serve you gotta break it down into wrist forearm and shoulder movements so it flows evenly. 1 big swing downwards will acheive nothing.

    Just the other day I followed through down the center too and ... So, does the motion of the arm more like a loop? Before you contact the shuttle you arm is moving front to back, then after contact, the arm swings to the left side?
