    Default China is now the world's largest auto market

    Just two years after China zoomed past Japan to become the second largest auto market in the world, it has done it again. This time it has passed the US to now become the world's largest auto market.
    China's Jan 2009 auto sales reached 790,000 vs US's 657,000. For 2009 China's auto sales will reach 10.7 million vs US's 9.8 million. The gap will become even bigger in 2010 and later years.
