    Good Morning!
    i looked trough tournamentsoftware and i read
    some interesting results.
    In China Open 2008 there were many young chinese players
    who rocked the tournament.
    how old are wen kai and pengyu Du
    and who can tell me about their development
    i never heard before from this guys

    Wen Kai and Du Pengyu are 21 this year, born in 1988 :)

    did they play worldjuniorchampionships in the past?
    i never recognized their names...

    Du Pengyu never participate in WJC but Wen Kai did. Wen Kai parcipated the 2006 WJC :)

    As far as I know Wen Kai didnt play he WJC 2006,but Du peng Yu did..He Lost to Tago in tight rubber sets

    but I remember last year during China Open 2008, after Du Pengyu bt Taufik, I read a news of him and the news got talk about he has never participated in WJC :confused: And I'm sure Wen Kai got parcipated in WJC before, hehe :D

    I'm sure they're both: stars and young.

    it's very good for china to have so much young players in reserve
    wang lin already rock the badminton world
    and i think wen kai will become very good, too
    although he has a very special style....;)

    If both Wen Kai and Du Peng Yu are 21, I wouldn't say that they're young stars. The reason is because Asian players tend to peak earlier then the Europeans. Not just that, their predecessor like Lin Dan, BCL and even Chen Jin has made an impact on the scene by 21 yrs old. Also, the only tournament that I see them perform well was the 2008 China Open. Where they advanced pretty far. In the Hong Kong SS, Wen Kai got eliminated 1st round by Gong Weijie.

    However, I think Wen Kai has crazy quads. His quads are like those of a body builder.

    his whole gameplay is crazy :D
    ich watched his match against lin dan
    and he is kind of rough..but nevertheless i like him :)
