After some new trainers for badminton...
Like Asics as i have used them for years for running etc and always found them to be very comfortable and technically superb..
Seen these ...and after reading a few threads on here it seems they are pretty decent..(and seen quite a few of the Danish team wearing them today at the Euro Team event in Liverpool)

There have been previous discussions on the Asics Gel Sensei, Gel Blast and Gel Domain. You could also consider the Asics Gel Blade and Gel Tactic which believe are badminton-specific shoes:

ps. Are Boe, Mogensen and Tine wearing the Gel Beyond?

I had a hard time deciding between the Gel Blast and Gel Domains. You should really check both out.
I play volleyball as well so i chose the domains. I wouldn't know anything about the blast, but the quality of the domain is great. I used to use other adidas' and they were horrible. Blisters on my feet all the time. With my domains, i havent gotten a single one in 3 months. They are light and perfect for badminton as well. However i've been noticing that the bottom is wearing down at the middle. I play 4 times a week at 3 hour sessions. They haven't let me down yet. Also the rest of the week i play volleyball.

Its a great choice. However the blast is well known in hong kong for as a good badminton shoe.

    Hope i helped a bit?

Cant seem to find Gel Domain in any UK stockist..
Did go to my local running shop the other day and was told Asics new range is due out very soon..
Wether or not they will release any new footwear was uncertain..
May hold out a little longer..
But do like the Blast or the Beyonds both would be an improvement on what i am wearing at the moment..
Due to go to the all Englands next week not sure if there may be an Asics stand or not..
Prob be all Yonex as they are the main sponser..unless anyone could enlighten me..

Well the blasts are also well known as a good badminton shoe in hong kong. thats what i heard when i was buying my shoes.

I wrote a long paragraph telling you why the domains are great. but like it didnt post -_-
Basically, it has good heel support and the traction is superb. However, i find the sole is wearing down pretty quickly for 3 month use. This is with good care since i strictly wear them on the court. Id give them an 8/10. Personally i'd just stick within the Yonex pool :p

    In your mind
I wonder if Asics tennis shoes would offer the same comfort/cushioning, while also providing better durability, since they are made for outdoor courts which are generally more abrasive.
