What does the U and G stand for on racquets?
I think G is for grip thickness? and G5 means thicker than G4 ?

    Indeed.

G5 is smaller than G4. G is grip thickness, it ranges from G2 (biggest) to G6 (smallest).

U is a measure of weight. 6U is the lightest (70-74.9g) and the heaviest racket available today is 2U (90-94.9) but U is (95-99.9).
