last sat, i was turned away by them at their new SOTX headquarter at Zhuoyue Building, Futian District ... i am from singapore, in zhuhai on business; i make the effort to travel from zhuhai to shenzhen ...

i was hoping to buy some rackets but was told that they do not display any badminton equipments and only entertained dealers / distributors there ...

i was told to view/buy THEIR rackets in the local sports stores ... so much for SERVICE...

They know that your intention is to destroy SOTX racquets.
That's why they have vowed not to sell you any

that's not too unusual... since it's their hearquarter, not retail store.

let me ask you a question tanleels:

if you were a reseller/agent of SOTX and "consumers" started going to SOTX head office and buying rackets off them directly, how would you feel?

don't do things that you wouldn't like to see others doing...

in business world, this is called the "sales channel"...

well, just had a peek at www.sotxsports.com
Pretty fun, two new series: the sharp-shift series and the S-SW series.

No idea what they are about, no marketing gimmick whatsoever. But: the new rackets have single-pass stringing and muscle-power grommets. The cone on the grip is more like the yonex AT-series. Looks pretty nice!

Also, new wovens, new CP's and new diamondfighters.

But what's weird: the haven't discontinued a single racket! their array must be something like 150 different models, it's impossible to navigate!

Fair enough... but since this is a loyal customer and, also, visiting from a great distance, I would have (if I were SOTX) at least arranged for him to get what he was looking for

one guy in Singapore used the black-beauty Woven-11+ and he loved it, and would like to order another .... the rest of Woven-11+ have been sent to buyer from Indonesia .... wished to have GOOD support from brand owner.

    unfortunately, i'm not a reseller/agent...

i'm just a normal consumer trying to save some of my hard earned money by buying good n cheap rackets... i will definitely feel happy for any consumer/s able to get good n cheap rackets... no question about that...

my post is fyi for the consumer community...

if u r a consumer then i don't understand wat's ur problem... if u r a reseller/agent, then we r from different worlds... we have nothing to say to each other...

i cannot control nor wan to control wat people do... consumers looking for cheaper sources is part and parcel of the trade; if u choose to be in the "business/sales world", u have to come to terms with it...

About the racket, all the new seem very nice. But can anyone tell me where I can buy them ? Since even the old sotx are pretty rare, I wonder if anyone will ever try this ...
