Looking 4 Chinese badminton players in Barking area

    Looking for badminton players. Does anyone knows any groups of players who play badminton in barking area ?

    i've got some friends in my club who live in barking.
    we play near shadwell, so about 15-20 by car and it's predominantly oriental.

    Thanks for the information. Can you give me more details please, where is your club and how to get there,when do you normally play and how to join your group?

    we play in the following school:

    Mulberry School for Girls
    Richard Street
    Commercial Road
    London E1 2JP

    shadwell dlr or whitechapel district line are the closest stations in you're not driving.
    no idea about buses.
    we play on saturdays, 1-4pm, have 4 courts in total and we use yonex AS30 shuttles.
    currently costs £6 for guys and £4 for the ladies.

    nope, afraid not.

    you can try bacons college, they play on tuesday and wednesday evenings.

    there's a thread in the UK section about bacons.

    But I want to find a partner to play double game.
    And for I stay in UK not a long time,and spoken english is not well enough.So if possible ,any chinese guys in this club?

    You can try Clayhall Badminton Club which is a friendly mixed ability club for all ages , playing with feather shuttles - £6 for 2 hour session. If badminton is your game and if you want to sweat it out on Sunday mornings from 1030-1230, just turn up

    The new fees are £5.00 for a 2 hour session- exceeding great price for feather play.

    Tuesday Badminton at East London (Woodford)

    Dear sky247 & Duriancake,

    Sylvan Badminton Club is looking for new players of a reasonable standard to join us at Bancroft’s School Sports Centre every Tuesday 7:30pm to 9:30pm from 2 August 2011 (inclusive).

    The club operates on a pay as you go basis at £6 per session (£5 for ladies). Yonex Aerosensa 30 feather shuttlecocks will be used for every session.
