Does anyone know if there is any courts opening for Saturday afternoon playing? Like anything between 12pm and 4 or 5 pm??? Any information would be helpful
if you're an avid badminton, should really get a membership at a private club. that way, you don't need to ask about any courts opened on a specific day. I mean, if you're a member, the club is always open to you. Why restrict yourself to a clubs time, than rather your time? Though memberships you have a committment and cost is a lil more, but there's more flexibility in time, and if you play enough times a month, it'll be even cheaper than going to rec centers or schools. and if you get more people to join a club, i'm pretty sure you can get a better deal at the club... oh yea, at private clubs, the courts are nicer too, less injuries on the lower body parts; my ankles and knees would hurt after playing on hard court but would not have these problems on rubberized courts just my 2 cents
I used to play at Unionville High (Warden & Hwy7) on Sat from 1:30-4:00. At the time (6+ years ago), the drop-in cost was like $7 or $9 & member fee was like $100+, pretty expensive. I am not 100% sure if the club still exists. You may want to check it out.
