Hi peps!, I need some good advice to which grip I should get to cover my PU grip on my arcsaber 10. Basically the PU grip is too grippy for my fingers as I was born with eczema and wearing plasters simply does not work. If anyone could give me a few suggestions to what grip would be better for eczema or dry skin that would be great! Thanks, Jonny
I think you may be better off with a leather grip or towel grip. Tennis players use leather grips much more than badminton players. I believe Wilson and Prince do some tennis leather grips and they should be fine for badminton too. Towel grip is cheap and widely available, you should change it regularly though.
I would probably recommend you to see a dermatologist to see if can give you creams to take care of the ezcema.
Maybe the Babolat VS original? It's very thin and its not tacky. It feels dry. Dunno if that fits your bill.
He's probably seen a dermatologist before Towel grip sounds good. Probably will need frequent changing.
Yes true, but I don't agree with wearing plasters if that was a recommendation. Once a while I get eczema myself and I have creams to take care of it. Badminton could be one of the causes, but of course there are others, like washing your hands and other sorts which can make it come back.
Thanks for replying guys, As some of you guessed I have seen a Doctor before about it and I do have creams. However I was born with eczmema which means I can make it dissapear but it will always be there, its happened before. I can make it dissapear but as soon as i grip something like a rugby ball, it starts to come back. Which is why I need a good grip. I have bought a towel grip and will test it out and let you guys know how it is after I've tested. Thanks, Jonny
Towel grip wont be good because theres too much moisture build up and bacteria, it may make your eczema worst. Best cream that ive heard of was diaper rash cream ( jsut takes away itch basically).
