hi because my stringer dont follow the yonex stringing pattern I would like to first preweave the strings before I give her.

Anything I should aware of before I start? This is my first time doing this (yeah one step closer to the stringing world ) ?

Is it just to put in the strings so it looks like a finished racket?

the other one shall be a knot, right ?

problem if you preweave, not many stringer would like to string it for you because they have their own method ....

Has anyone ever encountered "self-twisting" string when a preweaved cross is pulled through a grommet shared with tensioned main? The cross twisted so badly that the string was torn, revealing the string fibre.

Yes, mainly when I strung 1 piece at the bottom and again at the top of the crosses. I now do 2 piece and take it easy at those places since the string is tight through those shared grommets. Some rackets are good some bad so check your grommets. I am sure someone can explain it better but yep it can be a real pain.

i used to do 2 piece but didnt find enough benefit from it. 1 piece 2 knot simple and easy.

No problem with 3 strings in one hole is its a knot. Dont worry about that. The knots got as close to the last grommet as possible, but sometimes its a pain to find an easy grommet to access.
