Armortec 700 and 900P, which one is more reliable? Also better use in term of smash and controlling? I prefer in double game racket. Any one please help!
Thanks for the details. Recently i have Nanospeed 7700 and good in defence and control. But i need a attacking racket like AT700. So does AT700 more reliable then AT900P. I heart my friends said AT900P or AT900T are not reliable from the head. The string will easily eaten up the head when you apply more tension like 25.
Armortec 900P is better in doubles play compare to AT700. Reason is that the respond time for AT900 is shorter than AT700. Respond time is important in doubles due its fast plays.
Thx! for the respond. I think the price also should be consider. AT700 price RM620 (all included) AT900P price RM725 (all included) So is the price resonable the buy?
Arcsaber 10 IMO. AT700 is good for singles, as previously mentioned. If you want an all-round racquet, go for Arcsaber 10 which I think surpasses AT900P in every aspect, especially in doubles. Apart from the upcoming NS9900, I feel that ARC 10 is the best Yonex isometric racquet yet. But that's just me. I would get ARC 10 instead of AT900P since they usually cost the same anyway.
Yup! i know Arc 10 is good but more expensive then AT700 and AT900 in Malaysia. So if anyone know where to buy Arc 10 in penang or Perak cheap? Must be ori ya!
I think i'm gonna to buy AT700 at RM620. Is it expensive? or can i get it cheaper? Normally AT700 is around what price tag?
I used to use AT900T but when I try the AT900P and AT700, my wrist can handle the AT900P, somehow I can adapt better with AT700. Personal opinion: I feel AT900P is light weight but extra heavy at the head, so if your racket is your car, with AT900P your first swing just like you start your car at the 3rd or 4th gear, hard at the start, but if your wrist manage to swing at the 1st start then you will hit hard. AT700, I personally feel its better balance than the AT900P. Swinging AT700 is just like your car start at the 2nd gear, your 1st start is not light enough but good enough to achieve speed easily that the AT900P I hope you understand what i am trying to say here
ic i can get it here ipoh at RM 620 (included string BG80 and grip) and i'm ordering AT700. I'd tested AT700 from my friend and felt head heavy but i like it. The speed and power smash
Yup! i understand your explaination thx! Btw my friend said AT700 its better balance like you said. and more durable then AT900P.
Really? You understand it? Well Good luck of you Bro.. But why havent you try AT900T? Coz personnally I think AT900T less power but could do more defend, I say AT900T more agile to move around and controllable
Well, i do have NS7700 also for defence and controlable. So need a power smash racket like AT700 and well balance racket. But i might need time to adjust to get use to it and btw i still haven't get the AT700 now still in ordering process:crying:
it took me quiet some time to get used to at700. It whas longer and way more head heavy then my previous racket. Offense is good enough, but you really need to adapt for good double defence as you cant move so fast and agile with this racket. Now after half ja year im loving it. still testing out some different strings and tensions.
What string tension do you used? I will used either BG68ti or BG80 and with 25lbs first and might change to 26lbs.
from the beginning i used nbg95 on 23lb's and ive just restringed with nbg98 @ 24lb. Though i havnt played with it yet Here in the netherlands 24 lb's is considered high tensions and 22 is more the standard here. Maybe have to do with the atmosphere/weather/temps here.
My friend uses 24lbs BG-65. His AT700 is 3U and feels so heavy compare to my AT900P 4U and Nano power White. I like BG-80 because it's not as thin as 0.66 but less then 0.7 so it's good for me at 25lbs.
