    Hello there.

Anyone know of any cheap and good stringing services in Boston? The only one I know of charge USD30 for service and string, which is too much for me to afford. Appreciate any help and suggestions.

    Thank you.

there are couple of guys at Maugus club, who string rackets at $20. I believe it is $15 if you provide string.

We used to have even worse problem where no one/shop to string, I took to ****'s one time and they broke my racket (it was the first time they ever string badminton). We bought stringing machine for about $300 from EAGNAS (clone from name brand by Chinese manuf) - it has one of the worst Customer Service unfortunately but no one sell cheaper machine than EAGNAS. Stringing is not as difficult as you thought, so it might worth to buy one in the long run.

$300 is the cheapest??? I don't think so.

There are many choices of well build drop weight machine in $200 range or even lower. For personal usage (no more than 3 rackets per day), all such can be more than sufficient.

I was referring to manual crank instead of drop weight but may be there are cheaper price out there that I am not aware of.
