Badminton in North American Media.. NHL!
Was going through my daily hockey blogs when i came across this little find:
There's a video at the bottom of the post where Devin Setoguchi explains why he enjoys playing the game. In general i think this is some positive exposure for the sport.
BUT...the guy needs to work on his technique... Him being in San Jose and all i'm sure he lives close to some badminton clubs where he could train properly if he really wants to cross train during the hockey off season.
DinkAlot, you should get in touch with this guy. He seems to have Panda like powers....

My friend who works at Smash City actually invited him to go play there when she went to get his autograph not that long ago. He said he would check their website out and then tell her if he would visit one day. But he hasn't visit yet.

I think I caught a glimpse of this as well somewhere but didn't think the items were related to each other so didn't check it out. Once read a few of the finnish players play badminton as well in their time off ...
Didn't this guy play in the YoungStars game during all-star weekend?

Now you got me thinking.... the Canucks have a danish player, Jannik Hansen (sp?). I wonder if he plays or if he knows Camilla, Peter, Jonas and the gang =)

I think Bobby and Will Milroy have a brother Duncan who was drafted by the Montreal Canadians and played for the Hamilton Bulldogs a few years back. Before that he was a junior national triple crown badminton champion in Canada.
Interesting to see that AHL-level hockey player in Canada = top level badminton player

Yeah, he makes 1.2 mil a year, he should be able to afford some feathers

when he was playing, i believe he was using feathers...if you look carefully as he was serving, the feather was a bit broken and ruffled...at the END it was a plastic as he poses...did anyone also notice the horrible BK school rackets he was using? check out the tension sounds as he was hitting...ugh ><...
