Hello guys. I inherit this Carlton Airblade AS-1 from my father and I want to know more about this racket such as the highest tension it can take and I also would like to know whether this racket is at which range (high end, mid or low end). Details such as the weight and more are very much welcome. Thanks!!!!
Hi I have an airblade as1, was upgraded (free) from a superlite ti a few years ago The weight is approx 89 grams, very stiff racquet indeed I wouldnt say its the best for defense but for smashing and attack minded play its a very good racquest Tension wise i have mine strung at 24lb, have heard they can get strung upto 30lb though but dont quote me on that the racquets not for every ones taste and personally prefer using it more for my singles games rather than doubles
thank you mrdunkleysexy. Well my playing is more towards to attacking so i guess its pretty suit for me but i am thinking of restring it back because it haven't been use for quite a long time. Thank you for your reply. So its a high level racket then?
I believe that it is recommended up to 40 pounds. i found that on the searcch. you should try it as well.
hi, i personally use this racket to this day, trying to find another one to replace it hahah. it is a very good and durable racket. i've strung mine at 32 lbs before, but i normally string it at 28 so it lasts longer. As for what tension to string it at it is all personal preference.
