    Dear All,

I've been wanting to ask this question for a long time, but I always wondered are the benefits (which are I'm assuming, better tension holding?) of 2 piece stringing noticeable for a person like me (intermediate player) as oppose to 1 piece. Also I noticed many people writing that they string 23x25. Assuming 23 is cross and 25 mains? Or other way around? Assuming mains are tighter because it's longer? Dunno, sorry, don't' shout at me! haha. Just wondering why the tension difference, and apologies if it has been discussed in detail before, somewhere that I cannot find. Many thanks!

its to do with the head shape and the mains being strung first (correct me if im wrong) if you look where your strings tends to snap most of the time it will be on the mains.
