    What a shame...

I do however see big reason why a manufacturer would not make such a shuttle though...

    Economics...
Shuttles are big & easy money.
allow me to restate... any consumable product, is big and easy money for manufacturers
That's why everybody and their mom has a brand label, and we can even go to the factories and make up our own no name label if we pay enough money.

    Anywho...
I'm looking forward to trying some out myself to see how they compare.

(I'm still semi-retired so I dont take much time to play at the moment )
well, plastic is plastic and feather is feather.. unfortunately
no matter how well the plastic is made to mimic feather it can never truly be feather

I just had a chance to play the mavis 2000 in a fierce singles game last night. Played a young fellow in high school, gave me a good run for my money. Shuttle is good 7/10. Flight pattern is for clears and drives is spot on. Distance may be 3 inches farther than usual, but is negligible. The downsides are the same as we outlined before. Mostly a dull/rubbery feel on heavy shots, clears and smashes. Drops are definitely dull feeling, however these are workable and you adjust after a few points. Cant expect too much, but if I had to play plastic, and sometimes you do, the mav200 is the way to go.

Cost me a bit under $15 including tax for a tube, bought it to try out 3 weeks ago... I think most of the reviews were correct, the shuttle for me feels kinda heavy on impact, but it seems more durable than the 300's....

I honestly think it'll be faster to buy the shuttles from Yonex dealers if that's what you guys are interested on versus attempting to post and get a seller on BC. Prices and agreements will probably be twice as long as the shipment anyways.

all the ones ive checked either don't have the mavis 2000 in stock or are too far away to offset shipping costs.
the cheapest ive found was on amazon.com for $14 a tube but thats still only $2 cheaper

just played with them recently and these birdies flight are really consistent!, the skirt is really well constructed and it doesnt tear easily... it has a very long lifetime.
I'd say good value for your money for nylon birdie users.
