hi , people , i normally play with guts with a one less tension then normal , is that the reason of my slow smashes or its nothing to do wit hrackets or guts , another thing is how to get rid of blisters which i get during playing for hours, plz help
The normal rule , is the lower tension = more power and less control and higher tension = less power and more control. The racket does make a difference aswell. You may want to use a stiff/flexible racket. Or a head heavy racket for more powerful smashes. The tension and racket do make a diffrence Don't know what to say about the blisters though :-( Hope this helps!!!!
not always true. with higher tension, you can hit the birdie faster provided you're good enough. i tried playing with a mp28 at 22lbs, my hits were way tooo slow although they made it to the back court. with 28 lbs. you can see the difference
i had used to get blisters too for my racket, then i realized my grip was too thin, so i put another layer of grip over, felt alot better and didn't feel like i was holding onto wood anymore [if thats what your feeling]
I agree with nosebleed, my racket is the thinnest grip, but I put an overgrip on it just so it doesnt feel like im holding a peice of woord Alternatively, have the grip to large, and the largeness will cuase uncomfortablity and bislters
The stiffer is the racket , the better is the racket, for me i put at a tension of around 26-27. So stiffer rackets are more expensive.
Is a steel racket stiff? Is a steel racket better? Is a steel racket more expensive? as for price, that is relative. an MP22 costs more than an AMP95.
Ok , u say steel racket, u recommend me one, i go and buy . I used it for training and also to train my wrist power.
