Hi, i'm Darren from England. Have only just found this site and thought i would join, as i am looking for a new racket and read some of the threads on here. I am having wrist joint problems due to my current racket (Yonex MP99) being unsuitable to the way i now play. I have just started playing again after a 5 week layoff with the wrist injury.
Hi, thanks Yeah, the racket doesn't have enough flex, i am over compensating with my wrist. I had a different style of playing when i bought the racket.
Welcome.. ..to BCDF, daz103 (Darren)!..Sorry to hear abt your wrist problem after playing w/the MP99. You weren't doing many trickshots with your wrist, did you?? Hmm, must be unpleasant as badminton is basically a "wrist-oriented" racket sport. How long have you been playing?? Has your wrist injury occur before or just started after playing baddy? Anyway, hope you'll find a suitable racket to feed your need and won't re-injure your wrist; in the meantime, keep visiting us and enjoy surfing in here!
