Just watch the quarterfinal of all england 2008 and at the end of the 3rd set at i belive it was 20-20 the shuttle was well out but the line judge missed it and the judge ruled in favor of the team that made the error. Why dont the umpire have camera access, it cant be that hard seeing as other sports have it and its instant access.
Was this the one with LYD? The one when he banged the umpires box , and got a yellow I was also very disheartened , and at that score everything matters. We need this sorted out!
BWF can't afford it? Well that's just sad. Tennis, cricket, snooker, and video games (as per Wiki) have it. We're so poor
did you guys remember Hongkong Open 2006 when TH withdrawn from the game againts LD ? and yes, it should follow tennis so called "player-challenges" (or something like that) which use a camera on the line, and instant access ....
Okay. Long discussion. I have nothing else to say. Maybe bwf should just hire Hiro Nakamura so he can return to the time when the shuttle hit the floor and then freeze it. Sorry. Off topic. But it would be better if umpires would take into consideration looking at the videos. If you guys have seen the European Mixed Team Championship ladies doubles involving Wallwork, there was a situation there wherein Jenny Wallwork asked the umpire if she's watching, because obviously, in the video, the shuttle went out but the umpire did not overrule it.
Well I dont blame the umpire in the game i was talking about the one where LYD got a yellow card since he probably missed it but the line judge (looked to be a rather old lady) what the h*** was she looking at because it cant have been the game.
