Strange I can't find this topic, but this opposition is very interesting. Despite strong dominance at OG, LD has 2 real reasons to beat ChJ: the last year lose and the very last meeting between these two.. I was surprised reading ChJ is only 21
I'm sorry but I can't see any other result than a victory for Lin Dan. Chen Jin has been hobbling for the last two matches.
Do you understand the meaning of the verb "hobble"? (not sure whether you're a native English speaker) Chen Jin's legs are injured; he was not moving at full pace. However, he was still experienced enough to be able to control his match against the youngster Gong Weijie.
I believe Gong Weijie is only 5 months younger than Chen Jin. They are born in the same year. Correct me if I am wrong.
This time they act differently.................rubber games........but 21 - 12 10 - 21 21 - 11.........................in less than 30 mins......just like training....
Really? I didn't know that, but I surmised from the gulf in terms of their ability that Chen was more experienced and so probably older than Gong.
i do hope CJ give LD a good workout which LD haven't had yet. It's not good to go into AE final against a readied LCW or TH with a relaxed attitude and unstretched muscles. ....
Chen Jin - Jan 10, 1986 - he is already 23 Gong Weijie - Jun 02, 1986 - he is still 22 lydster is right about the age difference
I could be wrong, i think both CJ and GWJ were both together in the world junior team where CJ won back to back MS junior champ?
yes, i saw that video. It is was a close match held in vancouver. Amazing how a world jr title and being runnerup would change 2 people's life so much.
hmm, not a tough call. i don't expect a good match between chinese players playing against each other. So i won't bother about it. but the other one, yummy! wish i could watch it live!
U really think the fix will happen again? China can have a fancy win, but sure won't get me impressed.
