Tonight's match between LCW vs TAUFIK is highly depand on the player's mental strenght. Both player have the equal skill set,who can handle the on court pressuare. He is the winner.Although I am a die hard LCW fans,I think Taufik will win.Quite sad to always hear Misbun claim that LCW is under pressure.....etc...etc..

    What do u guys think?

Misbun has realised that LCW is now more mature and does not comment like he used to about LCW anymore. What pressure? Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Winning is not always about mental strength.(Rashid's the only coach who's a one-dimensional thinker so he will always say it's mental strength.)
Both LCW and TH play enough top level matches to surpass that stage. It will be about who makes more right decisions about tactics.

With all people claiming Th to be highly inspirational, and Lin dan is amazingly in form,
    sure they got better votes.

For those who thinks that winning is not about mental strength, I would advise them to watch the AE WS semifinal match between Tine Rasmussen and Jiang Yanjiao.

True winners or true champions do not have a 'you win some you lose some' type of mentality. Champions like LD, Roger Federer, Tiger Wood, Nadal definitely do not adopt a 'win some lose some' mentality or else they wont be where they are today.

Speaking of the LCW vs. TH's match..

..imo, mental strength goes hand in hand with how physically ready a player is. In TH's case, how many think his body language & movements on court showed a less than prime condition in his match vs. LCW?..Or did he think twice about advancing to the Finals where he has a likely date with LinDan??..Was Taufik really feeling the butterflies and pressure??..

Just look at how ZB/JM crumbled in the XD semi by the Korean QUALIFIER. Mental strength surely counts big time.

Please enlighten us as to how you know exactly why Taufik lost. Are you psychic?
There is much less venom behind the jokes of Indra and "bolehians" as you call them. Their predictions are in light-hearted hopefulness, whereas yours seem to stem from some kind of deep-seated dislike for Taufik Hidayat.
You don't know my age. Judging someone's age from their posting is not a wise thing to do. It would reflect badly in your case. Alternately, your condescending tone does nothing beyond attempt to cover up the fictitious basis of most of your posts.

The phrase "win some, lose some" came from a Nadal interview after a loss.Nadal does not expect to win all the time.If you want to sound clever, at least check some facts or you will come out sounding like a boom.

TH trained for 3 weeks and hope for the best that he can win the AE.If he grows up next year and trains for 5 weeks, maybe he may reach his goal.

but like LD, Nadal wins the important ones, and who he beat:rolleyes:

don't read what he say, he's being modest.
Read his score cards and how many titles he has.
