hey everybody, i recently picked up a Ti-10 Gen 3, at my local badminton shop. I play alot of badminton but i dont know much about strings. I am a singles player who smahes very rarely and i win most of my games by just dropping and playing the net. What kind of stings should i be getting and at what tension??? cheers
tension would be great as well. Also think about BG66. Powerful and amazing control. however, durability suffers. greatly. Also think about BG 80. another all around string.
i have bg 85 on mine. is your ti sp coded? if it's cdn authorized store they shouldn't be selling them
make sure your stringer is careful while stringing the racket, the Ti-10 is easy to break if not strung carefully. Trying BG85 @ 24lbs would be a safe bet, adjust your tension accordingly on your next restring.
if you are willing to hike out to markham head out to first markham place at yo's badminton they have a ti-10 there for 170 and srings included. The service is not wonderful but they do the job right tax included
Just stick to BG65 since you've used it before. As far as tension goes, it all depends on the person. I normally string at 26lbs, but that's just my preference.
i got a ti10(3) since its a balance racquet i prefer it around 24lbs got a ti10(1) head heavy, worked better with 28lbs but thats just me =]
i have 2 ti10, one (2) another is (3). ti10 (3) string at 28lbs- 3 months-string still ok ti10 (2) string at 26 lbs-1 month- tension dropped... restring at 27 lbs- 1 month-tension dropped again.... i just wonder....whether is the racquet problem or the shop....ti10 (3) string at shop A, while ti10 (2), 2 times string at shop B... usage wise, both also I used regularly..... FYI, i use BG66....please advise, where is the problem?
my favorite choice of control-string. 1. bg66 tends to loose tension quite fast 2. is the knots tied properly?
but my Ti10 (3) is also string using bg66...so far tension is ok only ti10 (2) seems to loose tension easily....since is the same shop twice, i wonder whether is the shop problem..... ti10 (3) is another shop
