Think about APACS and Proace. if you can look for MMOA as well.

Brother, with you kind of bajet (just learnt that word so pardon me), I'll go for the proace thunderbolt 3 or 5. They go for around RM200 and make fantastic smashers. You can also look around for APACS like the jymbalaya suggests. Great value rackets as well.

My take is, if you are not sure what you want yet, go a little cheap and try out different rackets with different characteristics until you know what you want.

One of my groups has several Malaysian players with almighty smashes.
With one exception, they are all using the Apacs NanoTec 700 Limited.

It costs only around SGD 80.
So your, er, budget has plenty of room :)

Not incidentally, this is a shameless lookalike of the Yonex Armortec 700 Limited Edition.

Me no expert in rackets but what I can say is go for KX 9 series if you want a good and cheap racket. It has control, power and very manouverable. The frame can take 30lbs easily. This is a Malaysian brand. I have one that I rarely use due to my preference for oval and stiff rackets. Price new is RM168. I might let go mine cheaply. Just PM me :)

Other than that you might be interested in Carlton powerflo 807, AS29 (oval) or powerblade 8800. All can be had for under RM200.
