Im currently using Yonex SHB90MX, 29.5 cm, EU 4?.5 (labels have rubbed off). i believe i will need to go 0.5cm larger next time as these took a very long time to wear in and have been stretched? They need replacing soon anyway so its just making the decision and actually finding the shoes in my size..... soooo.... 1) stick with the same (not my old ones ofc buy new) i know they are comfortable once worn in good stability etc, just need 0.5cm larger 2) upgrade to say SHB91MX or SHB100 etc and pay extra for better quality 3)buy cheap alternative like carlton, fleet etc will they last Any Suggestions? Heres some pics of my current shoes (left shoe) Cheers
If you're OK with paying more for high end shoes, I say go for it. If you're fine with the performance your current pair gave you and don't really think high end shoes would offer you much more, why change what works? Finally, if you're on a limited budget, try a less reputable brand. I'm pretty sure that Carlton shoes aren't that bad - some of the county players from round my way use them.
hmmmmm its not the money aspect it more of the fit cus i have really stranged shape huge feet, looking at the wear patterns on the front of the shoe u can see that my big toe pushes really far forward but it i get size 12 for the right length my feet slide. Do you know if carltons website is working yet ? if not where else online to they sell carlton?
actually, that looks like normal wear and tear. I can kinda see the stretched out toe though. If you like it, but it again. I think that the 91's are good too.
Does anyone know when the SHB 101s are going to be released? And possibly a retailer that'll ship around Europe?
Hey andrew, 20th March I think. Here's a link: http://www.yonexshop.co.uk/c.php?c=414&n=Yonex_SHB_101_LTD Simon
