I am a provincially competitive player looking for somebody to play/train with in London, Ontario, Canada. I go to Brantford's club every weekend, but would like to find some decent players a little closer to home.
London I visit London about once a month, on average, and I would love to play some badminton while I am there. I consider myself a good recreational player, and mostly play doubles these days. Are there some "drop in" programs in London that you are aware of? Thanks.
I haven't gone to it for a while, but there is a club that runs on tuesday and thursday nights at Althouse college. I can't remember the cost of it, but I remember it being pretty cheap. For info, e-mail uwo_bad_club@yahoo.com. There are also several times available at the western student recreation centre (for a schedule go to www.campusrec.uwo.ca). A day pass to the rec centre is $8, and they have an impressive workout facility as well (which is included with the day pass).
