Thread: Hey is APACS rackets any good?
03-10-2009, 10:20 PM #18
I have no idea what the equivalent is lol. But google the picture, and find apacs that looks exactly the same as it (as the YY clones look 99.95% similar lol). On the contrary, why not go for the EdgeSaber 10?
P.S. Why do badminton rackets have such cr*p names? lol. I mean cars sure sounds better (Vanquish, Phantom), or football gear (Predator, Fevernova).

you tell me rofl
anyways, yeah i've been looking more into the edgesaber 10
its 68 dollars CAD
good thing i dont have to pay for shipping cause i can meet up with this guy since hes in markham =]
i wonder if i can get it with bg 65 or 80 strung for free =[

i doubt it, the racquet is cheap already. don't think he'll string for much cheaper. also, the olympic versions i mentioned are infact edgesaber 10s. just with different paint job. honestly, stick with something cheap for now until you really know what you want. it makes no sense to get a racquet to help you do clears... you really won't know which racquets are good or bad until you've played for quite awhile. just stick with something and improve technique-wise. 4U racquets take a lot of wrist motion and technique to generate good power... which is probably why you find those racquets as "bad".
when all said and done, no racquet is going to help you with your shots if you can't even get to the bird in time because of a lack of footwork...

kk amp 90 it is >_<
03-14-2009, 01:37 PM #24
amp 90 or 95 sounds right. the thing with edgesaber 10 is that i find it more difficult to clear effectively in comparison to, let's say, the lethal 50 or VH1800. amp 90 and 95 i have found to be very powerful. hf!

If he's going to meet up with you, chances are that you pay him when you receive it from him.

well he gave me a deal
100 dollars flat for amp 90 + bg65
should i do it =]
03-16-2009, 08:38 PM #28
Look at it this way. AMP cost 88 dollar from his site. Cost you 15 dollar for BG-65. Total is $103. So your saving only 3 dollars rite now. But if he's gonna meet up with you somewhere close go for it.
