it's all up to preference. Even if you get bg65's @ 25lbs, within a few shots, the string tension will drop down the 23, 2 weeks later and it'll be lower than that so don't worry about it being high tension. Out of curiosity, have you tried bg80's?

Yeah, you can read Dinkalots reviews on strings! I've never been too fond of 65's myself. I'm currently using Bg70pro though

:p if i could see the string charts
what happend to them? they like disappeared

i'll find more reviews on bg 65Ti/70pro/and 80
65 seems to be very widely used

    one more question
could high high string tensions break a racket (35+ lbs?)

hey, you're right!! the chart did die!!! I pm'd dink~

High tensions increase risk of breaking a racquet for sure since it's under more pressure. There are some crappy stringers out there who will break the racquet due to improper mounting and reckless tensioning such that it never even makes it off the machine. I currently use bg70pro on my at900P @ 35x38.5lbs bg70pro w/o issues. I find that with high tensions, there is a high tendency of the frame cracking when the strings break at weak spots. The key is to cut them before it does!!

I've tried BG 65 and they do lose tension quick after playing with it for a while. They are good strings overall except for the fact that it loses tension quickly. BG 80s aren't so bad, I had it at 26 lbs for my AT900T but it went down to about 22 in 2 weeks...it has a thin feeling and it feels like your racket is gonna break at anytime. Currently I'm using BG 70 Pro strung at 27 lbs for my AT900T, I've only played with it for two days but it seems nice and the tension is still in tact.

^ I agree with CantSmashThis~ bg80's lose tension and that thin feeling isn't just a feeling... it actually does break on hard smashes after a few sessions!

so what string does not lose tension as quick as bg66 or bg80? bg79pro is more of durability aint i right? repulsion compared to 66 or 80 is not as much?

Thicker strings hold tension better compared to thinner stings.

26lbs down to 22lbs in 2 weeks? That sounds more like a stringer problem. It would least drop to a pound or two, but four too much with that peroid of time.

bg 65 is much more thinner than bg 70
but 65 is more durable so it looses tension more faster
my MP 45 went from 23 to 20 in about 2 weeks
i recommend bg 70p cuz its just like 65 but more power and minus a little durability

Even if that is true, the tension should stablize after breaking broken within a short peroid of time. But 2weeks with 4 pounds drop does not seem right.

BG65 and BG70PRO has the same diameter... both are 0.70mm

BG70PRO is oval shaped providing better tension-holding.

Lets SEE! MP 99 ONE OF THEEEE heaviest racket from Yonex, if I'm not mistaken. My friend played 29tension with a MP 99, and he was using BG 65's and i could see the strings gnawing in on the other strings(horizontal strings rubbed against the vertical strings, because the player is a very strong aggressive player, also because the strings are strung at 29lbs) SO... BASICALLY SINCE THE MP 99 IS A HEAVY RACKET, IM ASSUMING THAT THE HEAD FRAME IS THICK(DIAMETER WISE, AND CAN WITHSTAND THE HIGHER TENSION) Kinda logical :O

Another way to keep the tension a bit longer is by asking the stringer to pre-stretch the strings, or do it your self(but i rec. asking the stringer, to do it, if you don't know how to) Pre-stretching the strings, causes the strings to keep the tension for a longer time, especially bg 65's. But i heard pre-stretching the strings can cause to break easier, because constant tension can break it(i think) that's why. But hey, i wouldn't mind, because my friend has a stringing machine, and he does it for 8bucks a racket without strings 13with strings :) hehe Hope it helps?
