2010 Thomas Cup: Lin Dan has done well for China again
.
Lin Dan has done well for China again, at the 2010 Thomas Cup held last week.
Let us recheck the title of this thread - 'Let's conclude it, Lin Dan is the best MS baddy player in human history'.
After reading many BCers' posts during the week of this 2010 Thomas Cup event, we find that some BCers are partial to their national players, therefore not paying much attention to Lin Dan's achievement.
IMHO, it is better to ask this question -'Let's conclude it, Lin Dan is the best MS baddy player in China history'. Perhaps then, we can then get more unbiased feedback from our BCers, whether they are CHN fans or not.

If you talk about sportmanship and gentleman, I believe Zhao Jian Hua is far better than Lin Dan in China history.
Well, apart from winning in style, make your opponent and audience salute you rather than hate you.

we shld not consider achievements of the garuda (or others) when the dragon is still sleeping.
Once the dragon awakens, only thing left is the few peices of charred bird feathers.
for example, the the slightly bigger tuna fish may dominate against the small anchovies. but when the big shark comes along, the tuna fish stands no chance. of course, once in awhile, tuna fish will grab a bite here and there but finally, the shark will rule the sea.

Wow!!! how come suddenly a factual discussion turns to an attack comparing INA to a tuna fish.
Should I say once the Garuda fly again it will eat the dragon worm/snake anytime he wants?
Please be considerate!!!
CHN in the pass had great players too (Yang Yang, ZZH, etc) but could not dominate, INA recently have decent players too (TH, MK/HS, etc) but could not win enough. Im not saying INA is the dominant force now or in the future. But the fact is INA is the most dominant force in history so far, full stop.

dear bro
pls dun misunderstand. there is no intention to attack INA, just to paint a picture for easy understanding.
fact is, once dragon awakens, garuda no longer is capable to rule the world. but gardua did well during the slumber period and won many titles although they did not get to dominate in the true sense of the word.
garuda's rule is sometimes interrupted by viking, and not to forget the tiger.
unlike de tiger, garuda still remains strong and relevant but tiger has now turned into lifeless pussies.
but before i run out of topic too much, never in recent years have we seen such total domination by China men and women badminton players that they can win at will.

I have to agree that Lindan is one of the best singles player ever. He make the game look effortless. I thought TH is good but LD is better. LD is a class above the rest.
