Well, you can always make your own stencil. Just get a stencil sheet, trace your patterns and cut them with an x-acto knife.

this is really fun to do...just get a peice of thin cardboard(that's what you gusy call it?) and cut otu what you want....

    So far I've tried:
A decil-head (with eyes, veyr difficult to do)
    a question mark
an alien head (also with large eyes)
    a Nuclear waste-sign
an E form eminem for a 'customer'
and my favorite: a sarcastic smiley: plain eyes, plain mouth, one eyebrow risen, very cute

the devil head was funny because I painte dit on my sisters racket...and thén shwo the results..then she decided to use her other racket....wich had an Alien on it...I thought it was funny...

    Or you could cut out some emoticons and transfer them onto the strings. Its easy to cut out by supersizing punctuation in word O-}

I used to have the nuclear waste sign on my strings in high school (wow i can still remember) and everyone loved it because everyone else only had the carlton shuttle stencil or plain string after a restring on theirs since that was the brand of racket everyone used.

I just made a stencil out of card board and used a black marker

carefull with Markers on your strings...

some markers contain Aceton..wich dissolves plastic, wich wouldn't be good for your strings...

    I use yy's stencil-stuff...

I was young at the time (it was 13 years ago) :( and it was done before a school match with a neighbouring school.

i actually find the Yonex stencil quite difficult to keepneat the bottle ink stuff with the sponge runs a bit too much not leaving a nice clean crisp edge :(

When I order stencil ink from my supplier in the uk I always order a couple of spare tips which have soft furry stuff on the tip. This usually wears away before the bottle is empty so I just replace with a new tip and it is then fine. The tips cost £1, but as i only pay around £3.50 for the ink it is not so bad & saves me leaking Ink onto the floor or carpets.

What markers do you use? I don't want the patterns to fade after a while. Will permanant markers do?

Most badminton shops use a special type of paint and stencil. I just had the BG 70 string on my Wilson V6 done with the wilson logo. Call and ask what type of paint they use as it will not add additional weight to the racquet and will not chip or come off. Making your own stencils is fun, but ink will run or drip or come off on everything. You can be more accurate with the type of paints the shops use.

I do a personal logo, it's very nice, the red matches my MP100 and AT700 too xD.

I also like it because I feel like it keeps my strings together, I never really have to adjust them.

Hate how it comes off onto the shuttle's cork... you get a disgusting pink cork if your bird lasts you a while.

which is why it is better to use the type paint that the shops use. Pink? What is your personalised logo?

I can't play with a stenciled raquet. I don't know what it does, but I'm unable to hit good shots with my raquet stenciled. It seems as if the strings are softened, even when YY stuff is used.

Maybe you should have on a single racquet

    - one-side with a grinning face
    - and the other side with awww face

this way, when you make a winning shot you can flash the grinning-face at your opponent...

...and when your opponents makes a shot that does not go over the net or out, you can flash the aww-face! :D

    Cheers!

Heeeeey! I never ink my rackets. The strings don't last long enough for them to get any advertising. :p

Oh wait, my rackets are never inked unless Viper gets a hold of them, when I'm looking the other way, unbeknownst to me. :p :p :p
