FORMER national champion Anita Raj Kaur has remained competitive despite her commitment to studies as she won the Croatian International championship in Zagreb on Sunday. Anita, who quit the national team early last year to concentrate on her education, beat Tatiana Bibik of Russia 19-21, 21-12, 21-12 in 51 minutes. Anita has been pursuing a degree in accounting and finance at Leeds Metropolitan University in England since September 2008 and has occasionally found time to compete in tournaments. She also competed in the Swedish International in Stockholm on Jan 22-25 where she finished runner-up to Japan's Yu Hirayama. Anita lost 21-15, 21-14.
Wow now that is commitment! Education , and having enough time to win tournaments! Congratualtions to her
