Thread: Fake or real one??

Does look like a real racket to me. IP coded i guess.

I'd suggest you check the cone code before you buy.
The racquet should be either Thailand or Indonesia coded.
Your racquet, if legitimate, must be a 2006 make.
To be specific, its cone code must be between 10 May and 31 May.
(There's also an extremely tiny possibility of 01 June 2006).
Best of luck

How come it's real if don't have PBSI logo there?

Unless I'm buying it then he will take off that sticker...

Why should you buy it if you're not sure it is genuine?
It's the seller's responsibility to convince the buyer.
This is not some rare artefact that can't be bought elsewhere.
This is just an ordinary racquet available in any Yonex store.
In any case, it's your money.
No one else will shed a tear

But the price is attractive. Yesterday I went to RW and the price is mile above that offer.
03-13-2009, 05:42 AM #26
The price is only attractive if you assume it's real. There are a number of experienced guys here telling you it's quite possibly fake.

its a fake no question about it if the price is to good to be true then its fake
03-13-2009, 09:18 PM #28
i think it looks real if its not sp coded! but tell the guy to take off the stricker! its not hard and other buyers wont mind if its off... hope its a real!

i think its a fake since no pbsi sticker
03-14-2009, 03:37 PM #30
If you're going to buy it make sure and ask him to remove the Sunrise sticker before you purchase but ultimately it look real only if it is SP then is is fake because the PBSI logo is missing and the SP logo on the shaft!!

Um, its legitimacy is just a matter of checking the cone code.
Please see posts 19 and 24.
The prospective buyer has already received plenty of good advice.
It's tiresome to offer more advice when speculation is preferred
