What kinds of things do you guys say to yourself during every game or rally?

I notice that i tend to slack off when i'm winning by a lot, or losing by a lot, because i feel that i'm either going to win, or i'm going to lose. Of course, this makes me play even worse, and the other people end up winning.

Even though this doesn't 100% of the time, i would like to correct it so that i can try my hardest in every game i play.

Thats a terrible attitude to have.

#1 rule. You give your 100% until the game is complete.
#2 Rule. The game is only complete when the final point has been played.

In badminton the most important point is???
    The next one.

So if u lose a point too bad move on to the next 1. Dont even think about it its gone its done. Yes you can recap and think ok hes pushing me around iv gota gain control and move him around more.
But never go omg ......im losing....i just lost the point now im 3 behind..

your 3 behind ...more like only 3 more points till im winning.

become more positive and confident in yourself and your game and you will be fine.

Always put 100% into every point. Dont' think about scores, but about winning the rally at hand. Don't ever let up because who knows, your opponent could go from 20-0 to 20-22 if you don't make sure you're in control at all times.

    1. He is only human....( ..even he is wearing a outside blue underwear with a letter "S" on his chest:(:()
    2. I am born to win.....(regardless if the point is godzilla gigarntuant megaladon hugely separately apart like 10-20:eek::eek:)
    3. If must give a good fight.......
    4. Thank god the umpire is a female...........(..it is better looking at her than looking at your male opponent...isn't it??)

Depends on the situation for me:

    Random:
"I wonder what I'll be eating after this match"
"I should hurry this up so I can go eat"
"Defending is so much more fun than attacking"

    In trouble:
"Need to find my own rhythm (Mmm...Ss...Mmm...Ss...Mmm...Ss)"

    I'm a very strange player.

As a mental routine between the rallys I usually take a short moment for my self to focus on the things I gotta do; Think fast, Run fast, Hit fast.

    insufficient

Badminton is a cruel game. Your errors are punished immediately. Even pros do errors. Your errors are not, what you want to do in game. You want just to play your best, but you make errors. They happen, because you exercise insufficient. You do this, because of lack of time. So errors will happen and they must happen. It's only a game - a very complex one. Forget the last error and just go ahead playing badminton. No negative thoughts. Just play ... ... ... but don't be stupid to make same mistakes again and again ;)

That's what i'm thinking in a bad game.

when we are behind in a game, we try to forget the score and 'dig -in' treating each point as a seperate goal.
We try to focus on not giving an inch, and just geting to the next point.

Think of it this way. If you come from behind to win an end that they should have taken, then you are odds on favourite to take the next!
