I have a question on the yonex SHB-200/101/100 sizes. i don't have panda feets i suppose.. unless its over 10 inch lol but im about 180 lbs and i usually don't like wearing Medium size shoes but wide but, it is sitll fine. if i wear 10.5 US size Men casual wear what size should i get for these yonex shoes? ^ because i also did try a ASICS gel shoe , i tried 10.5 US Men size but it was too tight but still fits (but u know.. they are new shoes and usually tight and it comes out of it) when i tried the ASICS gel shoe size 11 US men, it fit comfortably. but for Yonex is it different ? because i heard that people say yonex is a narrow shoe and usually better to get atleast 1 size bigger? so would it mean if i wear 10.5 US men casual, i should get size 11.5 US MEN? or should i just stick with ASICS or Munizos shoes? because i think they have Wide sizes? please help. thanks.
I have yonex and other brand shoes yes, i would buy 1 size bigger, however in europe system. Say i m using size 42 then I would buy size 43 for yonex shoes
okay i see. but how about us size? if i wear 10.5 does it means i should buy 11.5 us size then? anyone have the gel domain by asics how is that?
If you're planning to buy online (due to cheaper prices) I'd suggest you pay a visit to the local badminton shop to try out the actual shoe first, this way you will be sure that the shoes are comfortable and fits well.
ah i guess i can do that. but my local club are sold out with my size ): i might try a different store tho. thanks
I've never had any problems with Yonex shoes. I've always gotten the exact same size as my casual shoes.
Trancemode, since you're in Rosemead, just go down Rosemead Blvd. pass the 10FWY and hang a left on Telstar. SGVBC is there and they have your sizes. They are willing to work with you and let you try on those shoes. I personally would get 1 size larger. as I normally wear a good fitting size of US 8.5, I tried on some 9s and they were very comfortable however.. I wasn't able to lunge without feeling my toe hitting the front of the shoes so I had to get US 9.5. That leaves me about 1/2" extra room which were still comfortable and considering when you try on shoes, your feets are not yet warmed up therefore that .5 extra will give you room for expansion. So i.e. if you wear a 10.5, you will find Yonex 11s very comfortable for walking. But during game, they may still be a tad tight when your foot starts to expand. Also, I've found that the sport shop in SGVBC is very competitive in price. I had to buy the SHB200s because they didn't have my size in the 100LTD. Now I kinda regret the feeling of SHB200 being too wide for my narrow feet. So it all comes down to preference.
since SHB200 is wide, the size should be 0.5 bigger only, rather than 1 size bigger, well you need to try by yourself for different shoe whether suit your feet because of the design.
