To all Badminton Enthusiasts, The Kitchener-Waterloo Badminton Club is proud to host the 4th annual Pointfore K-W Invitational badminton tournament! This is an open tournament for everyone and it is guaranteed to be filled with friends, food and fun! We invite you all to come participate in this doubles (men and women) and mixed doubles tournament. We have moved the tournament date up to May 9th this year to avoid the hot weather that we experienced last year! But that means you should start looking for your partners soon since registration opens on April 1st! In order to guarantee the quality and duration of games, we will be limiting the number of entries per event. This means that the draw will fill up quickly so make sure you register as soon as possible! EVENT DETAILS: Date: Saturday, May 9, 2009 Location: K-W Badminton Club (69 Agnes Street, Kitchener, Ontario) Men’s Doubles: 9:00am Ladies’ Doubles: 11:00am Mixed Doubles: 5:00pm Draw Format: ABCD - Minimum 3 Games Each Team Per Draw Draw Limitations: 32 Men's Doubles Teams, 16 Ladies' Doubles Teams, 40 Mixed Doubles Teams Cost: $25 for one Event, $30 for two Events Lunch and Snacks: Will Be Provided! Shuttles: AB Draw – Feather (First Round of A will be Nylon) CD Draw – Nylon Only Nylon Shuttles Will Be Provided!
