29.5 should be UK 10.5 but that's about the easiest thing to find out online ;).

not trying to sound rude but i know they are 29.5 and i know they are either 11 or 11.5 Uk just not which but as youve just said that its 11.5 US it should mean that they are 11UK as teh online converters say that US is half a size bigger.

And yet the same site mentions the following:
    "International ShoeSize Chart Notes

British shoe sizes plus 1 are the same as American Men's shoe sizes. However, I see many tables using a formula of British size plus 1½. Check with the manufacturer.
    " ;)

Frankly, it depends on the brand. I'm looking at a dozen nike boxes here and they all have the US = UK+1. On the other hand my adidas are indeed UK+0.5. I checked a site earlier (a site actually selling shoes) today and most brands had +1 with a few exceptions including adidas. But since I'm not buying I really don't care :p. (I tend to pay attention to the size in cm anyway)

Adding: my reebok's and k-swiss are +1 and my new balance +0.5

This is from sweatshop co.uk where I've ordered before:

"As a rule, a US size would be 1 size larger than a UK shoe size for a men's shoe, and 2 sizes larger than a UK shoe size for a women's shoe.

(Exceptions are New Balance and Adidas, for which the men's US size is half a size larger than the UK size, and Nike, for which the women's US size is 2 and a half sizes larger than the UK size.)
