Recently aired on Fox http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X9tBjt0DUk A little history: Canada had just lost another 4 soldiers in Afghanistan when this clip aired. As expected there was a torrent of hostile comments condemning it. My question is are these Americans ignorant or are Canadians too sensitive. When I first watched it, I thought it was some poorly written satirical comedy program.
I think we Canucks are way too sensitive. Why would we take anything seriously from Fox News? Heck, I was just in Atlanta and drove by what is apparently one Fox's main hubs.....it was a converted plantation house in the suburbs. How y'all gonna take news from a place that has mint juleps on the veranda seriously?
I didn't think FOXNEWS has any credibility to begin with. There are some things that just can't be kid around, war deaths is one of them. Americans should realise that we're there covering their butts in Afghanistan fighting the Talibans. I wonder why FOXNEWS didn't joke about the rising number of US deaths and casualties in Iraq.
What a bunch of pathetic morons pretending to be broadcasters! It's no wonder that Fox News is now called Fakes News and referred to in writing as Faux News
comedy is better left to comedians and not newscasters...it is one thing to joke and try to make people laugh...it's another to be ignorant and make fun of men and women in the service fighting the same purpose as your own country's...
Shows some arrogance when they proclaim America is "the greatest country in the universe". Talk about retarded. People like that should just keep their mouths shut and don't flaunt their idiocy. This kind of mindless arrogance and brainless generation is probably the cause of this recession anyways.
It is incorrect to think they are newscasters. Clearly the program is made to look like a news show but it is in fact a satire. Comedians they are, but perhaps the timing of the material was a little unfortunate.
