When i was asking the lady at the sports shop about why some rackets are so similar she mensioned that the quality of Yonex rackets are better. When people talk about quality, what are they looking at? Like, how is the quality better? And what makes the quality better?

    thanx for all replies

Quality simply means the way the raquet is constructed, does it look/seem solid?
are all the joints and connections even? is the material used good in proportion to the price? how about the paint? has the raquet been painted nice and evenly? does it "feel" like a good product made by that specific manufacturer?
things such as these relate to the overall quality of the raquet.

And perhaps most important of all: looking at more than one racquet, is the quality consistant?

But take the Yonex Isometric Ti Swing Power and the Fleet Ti-100 Swing Power. You may not have seen it, but for example the Fleet Ti-100 SP is exactly the same as the Isometric Ti SP. The only difference is the t-joint. The Fleet racket is a little thicker. But even the paint is the same. How can you tell?
