Default Converting Klippermate to Badminton: Klipper Kit or Separate Clamps?

    Hi,

I just bought an used Klippermate off eBay, the basic Klippermate, which I wanted for stringing my tennis racquets for next summer's tennis season, but now that my tennis season is over and badminton has begun here, I need to adapt it to badminton. Should I buy the Klipper kit for $69 that includes a lighter badminton drop weight, 4 badminton frame plates, and badminton flying clamps:

or should I buy everything separately to get better clamps? The Klipper badminton weight and frame plates would be $30 if purchased separately. I know that people on older threads have said that Klipper's badminton clamps are only so-so and the Yonex and Hi-Qua clamps are better, but I called KlipperUSA and they confirmed that Klipper's current clamps are the same as the Hi-Qua ones, which appear to be the same as Alphas, as well:

What about the Gamma clamps how do they compare? I can get a pair for $42.50 shipped off eBay:

Or get a pair of Yonex ones shipped from the UK for $54.60:

At this point, it seems like the Hi-Qua clamps with the Klippermate kit will do a fine job and it may make the most sense just to buy Klipper's badminton kit for $69 what do you think?

Also, for any of you Klipper owners, have you added any sort of badminton-specific frame accessories? Such as the following badminton frame load spreader on eBay:

Will it even work on a Klipper machine and is it helpful to have? Anything else you think I need to help with stringing badminton racquets?

    Thanks for your advice.

Don't have a Klippermate myself but looks like their kit will do fine (since you are not a pro-stringer).

Just note that the default clamps are of a larger size and could be cumbersome towards the top of a badminton racquet as well as on the last vertical (aka main) strings on both LHS-RHS.

Suggest you purchase a badminton awl as well.

Rest are nice to have if you got $$$ to spare eg better clamps.

Used to have an old Tremont T-145 for about 12yrs before selling it.
