I personally own 2 arcsaber 10's but are they really worth the 200 ish range? I know there are lots of alternatives so i was just wondering if i should stick to yonex.
Me, If i found a racket that i loved, that i could play with, and could get perfect feel power, durability, and control, i would not mind paying 200+ for it, no matter what brand. If you like them, buy it. Otherwise its just show. Yonex products are generally of great quality, and worth much if not all teh money you spend. If i had the money, Yonex ( or Kason) would be my #1 choice.
Depend on you, if you like Arc10 a lot then it worthed it For me? Absolutely no....i'll choose at900T from YY...personal preference bro
Had my new arc10 strung at 27/29#s with NGY95 one string, and it's perfect. Nice sound and lots of power. Was told the Arc10 needs >26#s to unleash. So far so good. Best racquet/string combo I've used in 30 years.
hi i'm new here ,just found this forum seen a few arc10's on ebay for about 30quid posted from china, anyone attempted to buy one at this price. it sounds to good to be true to me agaisnt the rrp but any thoughts on this?
Dear ibenji, Do you think the price of 30 pound can get you a real ARC10? I saw one of the fake ARC10 before and the racquet has a very good paint job but it plays like a cheap $20 pound racquet. So if you factor in the cost of racquet + S/H of the racquet, guess who is laughing? Good luck.
I got one just to feel it and had to restring it. Even the BG65 string on it is fake. Not worth it because it feels different...a lot more flexible than the original, and it cannot be strung to higher tension like the original without the chance of breaking. Check out http://gamepoint.us/
Hey ibenji Not worth the money if you're serious about badminton. Got my Canadian coded arc10 locally and very happy with it.
well i'm not a big user of ebay so i wasnt really sure it seemed too good to be true but at 30quid i thought i would check. i've not played until this week for about 6 months and i'm just getting back into it( just at the end of the season i know). currently playing with a three year old MP29 looking to upgrade really and the arc10 at 30quid seemed a good deal
Apparently, Victor's Bravesword 08 is a worthy comparison, from what i have seen in the forums. possibly the Edgesaber 10 is another choice.
The Mizuno TC700 is one of the best out there and definitely can go head to head with other top end racquet from other brands. The TC700 is cheaper than your high end Yonex racquet so value for money is there. If you are looking at even more affordable alternatives, look at Victor and Karakal.
imho, yonex is overpriced for its durability and quality, especially their arcsaber range. you may be better off buying its counterparts in the same price range like the at900t, mp 99/100, etc.
