    Hi everyone!

I have loved badminton for a few years now.

I used to play in my back yard with Dad every summer....

Of course, it was simple rallying.

I only really learned the drops, smashes, and other techniques last year. I am a Senior in high school and I am used to playing doubles. I prefer playing Mixed Doubles. I played women's doubles last year and it was JV all the way through...

Right now I am struggling, obviously as you can see I'm just your average player, only just over average, but I have a bit of experience and I know all the rules.

I just want to improve, badly. And I really can't smash very well. :(

Drops are my thing. Well, I play up front. :p I need help. XD

I am currently Mixed Doubles Varsity #3, as I challenged the previous Varsity #3 players as JV and beat them 21-18 (yes, it was really close..) but, there is this guy who is on JV who is GREAT and really fast-paced; his partner doesn't do much, she can't smash she just hits back up in the air and she doesn't really drop the shuttle either; he does all the work, and they beat me and my partner 21-2 yesterday.....So, I'm basically going to lose my Varsity #3 spot on Monday when they challenge us. Woohoo.

    Thanks :D

    North :)

And it looks like I'm on JV, I guess the match on Friday WAS the challenge match! ew!

But there's this guy on the team that I think is awesome <3 his partner's currently mad at him, so I don't know if she's showing up tomorrow...
I was hoping that I could play with him from now on but I don't know if that's possible. :(

Cause, my partner atm doesn't really come to practice often, he's extremely unreliable and he's not even that good....but, the guy I was playing w/ today, whose partner is mad at him atm, he is sooo awesome. Well, he's on Varsity #2 w/ his partner.

    Awww, man...

Anyway, our school has a home match tomorrow....wee! I get out of class 20 minutes early XD
