Making a living on Badminton

Jonas hi,
A personal question really. I have a friend who used to be a Top 5 singles player at UK. But unfortuantely due to the money problems he was unable to support himself so he has to give up badminton professionally. He used to tell me that unless you were number 1 (at that time it used to Darren Hall) you will never make a living out of badminton. So wondering do you get these type of problems at your country? Do you and other colleages work on the side as well??

Badminton is not the most well paid sport for one.

Itīs only me and two other guys working on my site at the moment.

My webmaster Henrik Petersen (plays american football) and Martin Bremer (plays tabletennis)
