Simple....Fran/Rendra's ranking pt of 32140 will be multiplied by 1/2 then 10/9 and finally by 80%. That will put the notational ranking to be 14,284.

Seeded 1-4, it's pure BWF Ranking, no notional ranking points

seeded-7, Duong/Pham, BWF pts 8930 of 5 tourn, notional : 8930*10/5 = 17860
seeded-8, Kamura/Ueda, BWF pts 5860 of 3 tourn, notional : 5860*10/5 = 11720

Fran/Rijal :
Fran BWF pts 32140 of 9 tourn (paired with Rendra)
Rijal BWF pts 0 (zero)

notional points : 0.8*10*((32140/9)+0)/2 = 14284.44, it's higher than points of seeded-8 but lower than pints of seeded-7

excellenttt!!!! I hope the BAC/BWF officials can rectify this soon. Wow, now I'm even more optimistic that INA will get 3 titles [MD, WD, and XD] from Vietnam!

BAC had sent it to Referee for decision...telling them that Frans/Rijal can be seeded plus the seeding entry list, they are in 23rd so there is no way Frans/Rijal is in qualifying to begin with.....they promised to come back with decision tomorrow....thats why they took the draw out from website this morning..

Somehow, Fran-Rijal ended up not being seeded #8... Well whatever! This draw is much better than the one before! As long as the INA MD pairs don't have to fight it out in the 1st round and don't have to play tough seeded players, it is a good draw! Fran-Rijal vs. Wifqi-Alfiat in the semifinals, maybe...

They didn't use notional rank for MD seeding, so did in XD seeding too
Just to take the more simple way than re-drawing, however it's better than old draw.

Now the bigger problem is how we can find the schedule & results daily ?
The present of PAW Vietnam Challenge is depend of it, a big miss if we skip this PAW tournament.

Normally, BAC website will provide daily result but of course slowly updating. Maybe BCer who located in Vietnam like anfan2000 would help us here beside Hauge's info...

The draw for XD looks the most promising, with INA sending 5 pairs.

In the top half:
Fran Kurniawan/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah have an early encounter with the sixth seed Dao Manh Thang/Nguyen Thi Hong Anh, followed by the top-seed Mohd Lufti Zaim Abdul Khalid/Lim Yin Loo in the QF.

Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto should reach at least QF and will meet either Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Vanessa Neo Yu Yan or the third-seed Phatipat Chalardchalaem/Savitree Amitrapai in the QF.

Wifqi Windarto/Anneke Feinya Agustine have more important priorities in MD and WD, so, just treat their matches in XD as practice matches. They will meet Leung Chun Yiu/Tse Ying Suet in the first round.

In the bottom half:
Akhmad Tantowi/Richi Puspita Dili should also reach at least QF and then they have to beat 2 seeded pairs to reach the Final: the second-seed Wong Wai Hong/Koon Wai Chee in QF and either Teo Kok Siang/Amelia Alicia Anscelly or Lingga Lie/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia in the SF.

Meanwhile, Lingga Lie/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia have the toughest draw. They have to beat Takeshi Kimura/Koharu Yonemoto in R32, followed by the third-seed Duong Bao Duc/Thai Thi Hong Gam in R16 and then the fifth-seed Teo Kok Siang/Amelia Alicia Anscelly in the QF.

INA will get at least 3 [and maybe all 4] of the XD semifinal spot and collect [at least] 2800 BWF ranking points [for each semifinalists] in the process... Our XD pairs are too strong this time, even for the higher seeded non-INA pairs... I personally think Rijal-Debby, Fran-Pia and Tantowi-Richi actually deserve to be seeded... These 3 pairs are more frightening to their opponents than all 8 seeded XD opponents...

14. I always think Pia is a good double players...I hope those 3 pairs can spring some upsets in coming tournaments.....they should let Shendy or Greysia play XD also...I disagree to PBSI's rule that no double player is allowed to play other disciplines.....now suddenly, all of them play 2 discipline each......let them play and explore more...sometimes PBSI is too rigid and makes no sense....look at China's youngters, mostly they play 2 disciplines....

15. it's sad there's no live results for this tourney....and no paw....
