Hi, I have been practising badminton for 5 years now and I am a very big fan.
I have owned many, many rackets, in order :
    - Babolat Satellite Chrono
    - Babolat Ultrattack
    - Yonex MP99
    - Yonex carbonex 21
    - Kason tsf 109 chain
    - Yonex isometric ti swing power SX
    - Yonex ti 10 first generation
    - Yonex armortec 700
    - Yonex MP88
    - Yonex nanospeed 8000
    - Gosen gavun roots 5000
    - Babolat satellite Nitro
    - Fischer Magnetic tour 83
    - Yonex armortec 700 limited
    - Gosen 6900 Boonsak Poonsana model

I must forgot some rackets but the main are here.
So finally for me the best racket in the world is............

    YONEX MP 99 !!!!!!

I buy a new one some weeks ago and it's a pleasure to have these sensations.

    You agree?

I know it has been discontinued but in France you can found it in many shops online for about 100 usd.

Yeah, loads of places still have it but I'd recommend you get a few more if you like it - the MP-99 may sell out quickly and due to its large fan base, become very expensive. Supply will be low (0) and demand is likely to be rather high.

In response to the thread title, isn't the Karakal MTec 70 the best racket in the world? :D:p:rolleyes:

Never try Karakal racket but 75g isn't enough heavy for me, need the racket help to smash the shuttle well.
But maybe I will try one to have a better advice...

There will never be a best racket for me since technology is always improving with new rackets coming out.

True , I recently had a lecture on the developement and trends of rackets. Rackets have developed so quickly ! And the outcomes are massive. :D

Sorry, I'm sort of a noob in Badminton but I want to know why did yonex discontinued MP99?
It doesn't make sense if MP99 is one of the most popular and good racquets.

Not all the same BP and weight

When you find the one you like make sure to write down the BP and weight and test the flex...Almost all rackets have some variation to them and the one that plays so well for you may not be the same when you but another one...also check the flex...here again flex is measured in variations....like 8-8.5 or 8.5-9.0 etc....:)

Thanks for all the replies, that's right the armortec 700 is a very good racket but you have to have quite a strong arm to handle it during a all tournament.
I agree with Krisss about the MP88, such a good racket. I want to try the armortec 600 because it seems to be a very nice racket too.

About the Nanospeed 8000 I am ok the new one is very very nice in gold but I was speaking about the performance of the racket.
